Atelier Ten’s New York Lighting Design Studio is seeking a full-time Lighting Designer to serve as project staff and/or project manager producing key deliverables, as well as providing assistance to senior staff while maintaining client relationships and quality assurance. Work may be coordinated with the firm’s interdisciplinary Environmental Design consulting teams.

You will be proactive and self-motivated with an appreciation and willingness to learn on multiple projects. Qualified candidates ideally possess:
•Bachelor’s degree or higher in a field related to lighting design
•2- 8+ years’ experience as a professional lighting designer
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, and AGI32
•Demonstrated skills in computer drafting, hand drawing, lighting calculations, lighting documentation, and rendering
Proficiency in written and spoken English with good verbal, interpersonal and writing skills is required.
Experience with LEED or sustainable design projects, understanding of lighting control systems, and familiarity with Lumion, Radiance, or Rhino are a plus.
