Thurston Regional Planning Council (TRPC) is seeking a collaborative, and versatile transportation modeler, or a transportation planner with a strong interest in transportation modeling, to join our well-regarded team. Additional Salary Information: TRPC provides generous annual leave and employer-paid medical and dental coverage for its employees. The agency is a member of the Washington State Public Employees Retirement System. TRPC provides employer-paid transit passes and supports commute trip reduction measures such as telework, compressed work weeks, and flexible schedules. Associate Transportation Planner: Hiring range for the position is $5,468 – $6,829 per month depending on qualifications. Transportation Modeler: Hiring range for the position is $5,888 – $7,354 per month depending on qualifications. The Council typically approves an annual cost-of-living increase.

TRPC is a Regional Transportation Planning Organization, council of governments, and Metropolitan Planning Organization governed by a 22-member intergovernmental board. The agency is non-regulatory with a mission to “provide visionary leadership on regional plans, policies, and issues.”
