GCP Applied Technologies is looking for a Senior Sales Representative to join its team.
Maintains contact with established customers and develops new prospects in assigned territories including building owners, placement contractors, developers, consultants, and builders in the commercial/industrial segment.
Service existing and prospective accounts within territories in accordance with company’s policies and programs.
Analyzes customer needs and formulates solutions using all resources within GCP.
Maintain and increase project pipelines while aggressively seeking new projects / customers to position GCP’s portfolio of products by implementing planned sales strategies, company-marketing programs, and delivering effective presentations.
Awareness and knowledge of competitive products and marketing practices, as well as keeping management informed of them.
Cooperates and assists fellow salespersons, sales managers, project managers, marketing, customer service, manufacturing and other company personnel.
Overnight travel required to service market and expected at 40%.
We are hiring these roles in Chicago, Denver & Salt Lake City area.
BA/BA degree required
Demonstrates ability to consistently meet customer expectations as well as the ability to leverage products and knowledge at all levels of the decision making chain with a specific knowledge of concrete flooring and/or industrial real estate development.
Possesses good problem solving skills and the ability to discuss business issues and then position appropriate GCP solutions.
Maintains up to date records through computer systems (BOLT, CRM).
Excellent communication skills as most projects will require team coordination with internal influencers and partners.
Minimum 5 years experience selling value added building materials with experience in concrete or industrial real estate.
Broad knowledge of services, products, and basic sales techniques, and capability in calling on multiple influencers required including the industrial real estate segment, funding sources, designers, and concrete contractors.
Emphasis in specifying or converting industrial flooring to Ductilcrete Engineered Floor Systems.
