The Data Analyst will be instrumental in developing performance metrics and dashboards to provide insight into how the Customer Care Center, Accreditation, Agency Risk Management, Customer Experience departments are performing against their goals and objectives. The Data Analyst will solve business problems in the areas of productivity and quality using tools such as Lean-Six Sigma, PMP and creative problem solving. Support and lead projects to continually improve the productivity and quality of the Customer Care Center, Accreditation, Agency Risk Management, Customer Experience and other internal business partners to achieve operational excellence.
Lead and support significant initiatives with proven improvement methods to achieve high levels of productivity and quality for department functions.
Work with department managers to elicit requirements for reporting needs and develop dashboards in MS Excel/ Tableau to ensure each department has meaningful metrics to measure and improve their performance.
Quickly develop an understanding of technical aspects of departmental data and applications to work with Business Technology to identify solutions, support requirements development and implementation.
Have a strong understanding of departments’ data, data sources, database, systems and applications to extract data, identify system improvements/ enhancements, and develop standard or ad-hoc reports.
Lead projects and provide project management services to align departments’ efforts with ARC’s Key Business Objectives (KBO’s).
Establish and maintain effective cross-functional business partnership and knowledge across all levels of the department and organization.
Education and Work Experience Required
Bachelor’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Analytical field.
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in performance metrics development and process improvement is required
Must have advance knowledge of MS-Excel, with a strong hold on v/h-lookups, pivot tables and advanced functions.
Must have at least 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop, developing Tableau dashboards and tools
Must have 2-3 years of project management experience
Experience with MS-Visio or similar tools is a must
Certification in at-least one of the following is preferred: Six Sigma, Lean/Kaizen or PMP is preferred
Experience and good working knowledge of MS-Access, Cognos is preferred
Working knowledge and 1-2 years of experience with SQL is highly desirable

Must be able to extract objective information from large amounts of ambiguous qualitative and quantitative data
Strong skills in extracting, manipulating data and developing custom dashboards in data applications
Must be able to execute projects with speed and work in teams through excellent teamwork and engagement skills.
