Primary responsibilities for this position include: performing research and development activities to improve the attributes of existing products; assisting in the development of new products for existing and new end use applications; identifying research and development projects and defining necessary resources; interpreting project/trial results and making recommendations to leadership regarding product and/or process changes; and responding to internal and external inquiries regarding specific products and end use applicability.

The qualified candidate will have a minimum of a BS in Chemistry or related field. Experience in minerals processing or in kaolin end-use applications (e.g., paint, plastic, coatings, etc.) preferred but not required. Must have current work authorization in the United States.
