Bachelor's degree in public administration, construction, environmental science, or closely related field. Seven (7) or more years of experience in the administration and management of a municipal public works department or closely related field, plus three – four (3-4) years of administrative and supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Significant experience with word processing, spreadsheet, and data base applications.
Must possess and maintain a valid State of Florida Driver's License.
Possess the National Incident Management System (NIMS) IS-700 within 30 days of employment and the ICS-100 and ICS-200 within 90 days of employment. There may be additional NIMS required, which will be schedule by your Supervisor.
