The Key Account Manager (KAM) will manage assigned accounts with the primary responsibility to create value through technical service they apply and manage in conjunction with service reps. Identifying new product opportunities and selling to existing customers. A KAM’s sole focus is to maintain revenue, capture price and improve gross profit. The KAM is also responsible for a blended role of account management and service management, this position is responsible for managing and expanding existing accounts by coordinating and arranging the water treatment products in an efficient, timely and cost-effective manner. Interfacing between the customer and all relevant internal departments is also a major responsibility.
Other key responsibilities:
Be involved in and drive projects that relate to customers business.
Strive to growing sales gross profit dollars and % while maintaining a strong and profitable sales mix that aligns with best sale strategies. Manage customer selling prices.
Build business through increased NPI offerings and working with applications.
Maintain and strengthen customer relationships with all key accounts.
Plan, prepare, strategize and execute account business plans and maximize customer budgets.
Forecast Volumes with Plan and Schedule departments.
Knowledge of all aspects of the business including water activity, opportunity, consumer trends, customer focus, strategy and execution
Work with sales and support teams ensuring 100% customer satisfaction
Manage and maintain a customer accounts within SFDC on a daily basis ensuring up to speed and accurate customer profile
Inform customers of the Company's full range of services provided
Review treatment program and processes within accounts to ensure continuous optimization while capturing assign growth targets.
Demonstrate on a daily basis a positive, team building rapport with colleagues.
Maintain and build customer relationships
Work closely with service reps to ensure excellent service levels for retention of accounts
Maintain communication with customer service to ensure successful transactions to customers
Liaise with drivers, shippers, and receivers to provide accurate tracking updates
2 yearly reviews on each account that are separate from the annual review, which take place on a more local level consisting at 4th month of the calendar year and 8th month of the calendar year
Maintain a ROFO on accounts responsible
Maintains personal relationships with key accounts. Maintains a proactive, visible relationship with entire customer base.The Key Account Manager organizes, plans, and executes sales initiatives for all Solenis products with the objective to maximize volumes and profitability within annual budget targets. The KAM will be responsible for a portfolio of customers that are located in the designated region.
More specifically, the Key Account Manager:
Develops a customer's business plan, by category and readjust the sales forecasts in consequences;
Negotiates commercial agreements / service programs based on targeted objectives;
Develops and presents business reviews to the customers on a regular basis;
Identifies and analyzes the opportunities / threats by customer and quantify the impacts in terms of volumes and profitability for the clients
Seeks new business opportunities within market
Follows up on all customer requests and questions to ensure appropriate response is made and customer is satisfied.
Treats all customers (both internal and external) with dignity, respect, courtesy and kindness.
